Meet Jiggy, a sweet boy who was at risk in a municipal shelter in Alabama before we stepped in to give him a second chance. Now, Jiggy is ready to put his shelter days behind him and focus on the important things in life; finding his people, getting plenty of love, and finally having a place to call home. There’s so much potential in every dog who comes through our doors, and Jiggy is no exception. 🧠 Temperament
Meet Jiggy, a sweet boy who was at risk in a municipal shelter in Alabama before we stepped in to give him a second chance. Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward.
🎾 Exercise
High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.
✂️ Grooming
Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.
