Sweet Lilly Claire’s journey hasn’t been easy; she was surrendered by her previous family and found herself at risk in the city shelter. But through it all, she’s never stopped being the affectionate, happy girl she was born to be.
Lilly Claire is wonderful with people and lights up whenever someone gives her attention. She adores pets, snuggles, and will happily lean in close for as much love as you’re willing to give. She also does well with other dogs, though she’d prefer a cat-free home.
This food-motivated sweetheart has a playful side, she can get excited on leash, and she may even jump to greet you when she just can’t contain her joy. With consistency and daily activity, she’ll thrive and make a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddle breaks.
Lilly Claire has so much love to share and is just waiting for the right family to open their heart to her.

Affectionate, people-loving and often startlingly goofy — pit bull type dogs are typically very social with humans. Dog-to-dog tolerance varies a lot by individual, so the rescue's observations matter more than the label.
High — 60+ minutes daily plus chew and puzzle outlets. They are strong and benefit from structured training.
The main obstacle is paperwork, not the dog: many buildings and insurers restrict pit bull type dogs, and enforcement is based on appearance. Confirm your building's policy first.
