Meet Sedona Sedona’s story is a reminder that even after a difficult beginning, beautiful things can happen. Sedona and her brother, Aspen, were found abandoned in Mississippi without their mama. A few weeks later, their mother, Dakota, was found and brought to the very same shelter where her puppies were waiting. After weeks apart, this little family was finally reunited. Now Sedona has the chance to leave that uncertain beginning behind and find a family of her own. She deserves to grow up surrounded by love, discover the world at her own pace, and have people who will keep her safe through every stage of life. Please consider opening your heart and home to Sedona. This precious girl deserves a future filled with happiness, security, and a family who will cherish her forever. Please remember that adoption bios are only a snapshot of each animal. Please reach out to our Adoption Team for additional information about Sedona and to learn if she may be the right fit for your home. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Interested in adopting or fostering? Need more info on this dog? Mixed Breed

🧠 Temperament

Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog. What the foster or shelter observed day to day is far more predictive than any breed guess.

🎾 Exercise

Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.

✂️ Grooming

Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
