This adorable litter of 2.5 month old Lab mixes is here to make everyone swoon! Meet Toffee, Ginger, and Maple, the girls, and their brother, Cider. They have some paws to grow into, and we’re learning more about their personalities as they settle into their foster homes. They’re working on all things puppy and learning the ropes with help from their foster families. All four have been spayed or neutered and have started their age appropriate vaccines. These sweeties could fit into any home, including those with dogs, cats, or children, with proper who are eager for continued puppy training. They each can’t wait to learn, grow, and make memories with their forever families.
🧠 Temperament
Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward. Labs stay adolescent longer than many breeds and are often goofy well past their second birthday.
🎾 Exercise
High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.
✂️ Grooming
Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.
