My name is Sedna. I am a female, grey Siberian Husky mix. I have been at the shelter since Oct 01, 2026. Hi, I’m Sedna! I'm Sedna, a 5-month-old Husky mix, and apparently I'm ridiculously cute. Thank you. I had very little involvement in that. BUT I WILL ACCEPT THE COMPLIMENTS. Now let's talk about what happens AFTER you take the adorable puppy home. Because one day... I WILL NOT BE A LITTLE PUPPY. I will be a bigger dog with energy, intelligence, opinions, and an absolutely unreasonable amount of enthusiasm for doing things. If your dream dog-owning experience is: "Maybe we'll go for a little stroll if the weather is nice." I respect your lifestyle. PLEASE ADOPT SOMEBODY ELSE. ?? I'm looking for people who hear: "THIS DOG NEEDS EXERCISE EVERY DAY." and respond: "Perfect. So do we." I need walks. I need running. I need adventures. I need training. I need mental stimulation. I need structure. And then? Sure! Let's go home and snuggle. But we have to earn the couch first. Because there is an important principle in life: AN EXERCISED HUSKY IS A HAPPY HUSKY. And a bored Husky? Well... HOW ATTACHED WERE YOU TO THAT COUCH? Kidding. Mostly. ?? I'm sweet, gorgeous, young, and full of potential. Put the work into me now and help me learn how to channel all that Husky energy appropriately. Don't just pick me because I'm beautiful. Pick me because you want the active, intelligent, energetic dog underneath all this fabulous packaging. And then... GRAB YOUR SNEAKERS. WE'VE GOT PLACES TO GO. Sedna is spayed, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. Her adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Sedna will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption. If you'd like to meet her please visit, we're conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus. We're open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pm. Sedna can't wait to meet you! Siberian Husky

🧠 Temperament

Independent, playful and famously stubborn. Huskies were bred to run for hours and are generally friendly with everyone — they make poor guard dogs and excellent escape artists.

🎾 Exercise

I'm looking for people who hear: "THIS DOG NEEDS EXERCISE EVERY DAY." and respond: "Perfect. Very high — 90+ minutes of real exertion daily.

✂️ Grooming

Thick double coat that sheds enormously twice a year. Frequent brushing is not optional.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

One of the harder city breeds: vocal, high-energy, heat-sensitive and rarely reliable off leash. Needs an owner ready to run in the cold.
