Holy Moly... Griffin is quite the looker. Rescued from high impound, high kill Lancaster Shelter where the clock was ticking against him. Since he has been groomed, he now struts his stuff. He is an ez boy, doesn't ask for much. He will be a great protector, especially for a single woman. Griffin walks perfect on a leash. He will not do well in an apartment, so homes with property only. He takes treats ridiculously gentle, so would be great with kids. He loves his walks (yep, a great leash walker too), is house respectful and housebroken. He is between 2-3 years old and weighs 64 fluffy pounds. Does NOT shed much. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@barknbitches.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.

Great Pyrenees

🧠 Temperament

He takes treats ridiculously gentle, so would be great with kids. Calm, independent and gentle, bred to guard livestock alone for days.

🎾 Exercise

He loves his walks (yep, a great leash walker too), is house respectful and housebroken. Low to moderate for their size — a couple of long relaxed walks.

✂️ Grooming

Enormous double coat that sheds constantly. Brush several times a week.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

He will not do well in an apartment, so homes with property only. Hard in an apartment mostly because of size, shedding and their instinct to bark at every noise.
