Watson is a very very good boy. He was a dumped pup on the streets of Watts. It takes a small army to rescue 1 dog. At some point, some human failed him, he was lucky enough to find humans that would help him. Watson LOVES dogs. He should probably go to a home with a dog. His foster has a 20 pound terrier and they are best buds. He does great with all dogs. He also loves people... like a lot. Watson would do great in an active household since he just loves his hikes and social time. Everyone that spends time with him, falls madly in love. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. 🧠 Temperament
Watson would do great in an active household since he just loves his hikes and social time. Confident, highly trainable and deeply loyal, bred to work all day alongside a handler.
🎾 Exercise
High — 60-90+ minutes daily plus a job to do. Scent work and obedience are ideal outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Heavy double-coat shedding year-round with two big blowouts a year. Brush several times a week.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Demanding in an apartment: large, vocal and often reactive to the constant stimulus of a city street. Very doable for an experienced owner, hard for a first-timer.
