Meet adoptable Vader! This 1-year-old, 52-lb, mixed-breed guy is super sweet, cuddly, and full of love. Vader was rescued from an overcrowded shelter and is thriving in our care, where his affectionate personality shines. He is ready to find a forever home where he’ll be loved and adored! Vader is a ball of youthful energy who truly seems to love everyone he meets. He is a young, happy guy who enjoys being close to his people and soaking up attention. Vader has a playful, loving nature and is always ready for a cuddle or some quality time. This smart boy is fully potty-trained and crate-trained, and he completed a training program with Canine School of Behavior. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a playmate in his forever home, but would also be happy as a solo pup. Vader will do best in a home with a yard and an experienced large-breed adopter who can provide consistent structure, continued training, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a lovable, affectionate companion with lots of potential, Vader might be the one for you.

Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.

Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
