Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
🧠 Temperament
Bold, curious and busy. Terriers were bred to hunt independently, which shows up as tenacity, a strong prey drive and a low tolerance for boredom. They are often more dog-selective than people-selective.
🎾 Exercise
I love walks/runs and biking!. Moderate to high, and mental more than physical — 45-60 minutes plus digging, sniffing or puzzle outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Their small size suits apartments well. Watch for barking at hallway noise and a strong interest in squirrels and rats.
