Hi I'm Alicent but my friends call me Ali! Nice to meet ya! I'm a 1 year old 32 lb border collie mix who is looking for fun! I am great with dogs and would love a home with a dog pal! Hikes, parks, beach trips LETS GO! I am house broken and crate trained and I cannot wait to meet you! *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
🧠 Temperament
Widely considered the most intelligent breed, and that is a demand rather than a convenience. Border Collies need a job and will invent one — often herding people or chasing traffic — if you don't supply it.
🎾 Exercise
Very high — 90+ minutes plus daily mental work or a dog sport.
✂️ Grooming
Medium double coat, brush a few times a week.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
I am house broken and crate trained and I cannot wait to meet you!. A difficult apartment fit unless you are committed to serious daily activity.
