Hi I'm Rushmore. I'm a 7-8 year old boxer who is looking for a family of my own who will love and cherish me and enjoy my golden years together. I am neutered and had some lumps and bumps removed. I have some early kidney stuff but requires no meds or treatment. I just need a high moisture diet to keep things moving in the right direction. I would do best as the only dog b/c I like food and have a tendency to guard it from other dogs. It's manageable with the right humans and structure if you were to have another dog at home. I actually LOVE playing with dogs (well matched of course) I can't wait to meet you. *please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet.
🧠 Temperament
Calm, stubborn and affectionate. Bulldogs are famously low-drive and content to spend most of the day asleep near you.

Low — short walks only, and never in the heat.

Short coat, but skin and facial folds need regular cleaning.

Quiet and space-efficient. Same heat and breathing cautions as the French Bulldog; plan for higher vet bills.
