Meet Scooby Doo! This extra-large, 10-month-old puppy is a big bundle of energy and fun! He’s incredibly friendly, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. Scooby loves being active and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. Like any young pup, he’s still learning his manners and would benefit from some basic training. An active home with older children and a family excited to help him learn and grow would be a great match for this lovable boy! If this dog is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in Wantagh or in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process. Prior to adoption, all of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given their age-appropriate vaccines.
🧠 Temperament
He’s incredibly friendly, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
Scooby loves being active and would make a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. Depends on the individual.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
