📏 Full size

Fully grown at about 102 lbs.

A giant dog by weight

Aria is a sweet and super affectionate dog. So far I've learned that she loves people and other dogs, is potty trained and does well in her crate. She's very smart and food motivated, which makes training a blast! She loves going for walks, but also does great being left home alone in her crate. But her biggest love language is cuddles and pets - her tail will never stop wagging and she's very loyal to her humans. Aria is approximately 5y 2m 4d old and is fully grown at 102.3 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

Aria is a sweet and super affectionate dog. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

🎾 Exercise

She loves going for walks, but also does great being left home alone in her crate. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

Far I've learned that she loves people and other dogs, is potty trained and does well in her crate. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
