Meet Cubie! 🐾 Cubie is a sweet, affectionate pup with lots of love to give. He loves people, cuddles, being right by your side, and is happiest when he's spending time with his humans, whether that's exploring the neighborhood, learning new tricks, or curling up beside you for a good snooze. Cubie is friendly, curious, and enthusiastic about the world around him. He loves meeting new people and taking in all the new sites and smells of the city. While there's plenty to capture his attention outside, he's responsive to his person, happily accepts treats, and will sit even with distractions around him. He's also a smart cookie and a quick learner! Cubie already knows "sit" and picked up "paw" in a matter of minutes. He's food-motivated and eager to engage, making training a fun way to connect with him. At home, Cubie is a total cuddle bug. He loves curling up for some quality snuggle time, but he's also capable of settling down for a nap on his own. He is still adjusting to his new surroundings and learning how to manage his excitement, particularly during transitions like coming home from walks. He benefits from a predictable routine, positive reinforcement, and opportunities to unwind. With his affectionate personality, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for life, Cubie will make a wonderful companion for someone excited to help him continue building confidence and settling into his new home! Cubie is approximately 4y 0m 9d old and is fully grown at 68 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

🐾 Cubie is a sweet, affectionate pup with lots of love to give. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

🎾 Exercise

He is still adjusting to his new surroundings and learning how to manage his excitement, particularly during transitions like coming home from walks. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
