A NYC estimate for a dog this size and coat. Excludes the adoption fee and anything unexpected.
Fully grown at about 9 lbs.
Hi I’m Daphne! I arrived in NYC all the way from Puerto Rico, and I’m so excited to be here! I’m a nervous girl, but that doesn’t stop me from being excited to explore and meet new people. Sometimes my foster mum laughs when I’m playing with my toys and bouncing off the furniture, she thinks I’m silly. But I spent 90% of my time snoozing on my bed, and my foster mum says I’m the best girl since I’ll sleep quietly and relax in my crate overnight and anytime I’m left alone. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and have a home of my own! Daphne is approximately 7y 1m 7d old and is fully grown at 9 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

🧠 Temperament
I’m a nervous girl, but that doesn’t stop me from being excited to explore and meet new people. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.
🎾 Exercise
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
