Pumpkin spice girls take notice - Ginger is available to be your apple cider donut! This sweet, sad lady needs someone who can put some meat on her bones while she recovers from a tough couple months so she'll be ready to lend her autumnal vibes to your Thanksgiving plans. She loves stomping through the leaves on our block and has that beautiful, pumpkin pie coloring. With a little love, she'll be ready to don her matching holiday pajamas with the rest of your family. Ginger is approximately 1y 8m 0d old and is fully grown at 39 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

🎾 Exercise
Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
