Looking for a teddy bear come to life? You’ve found him in Gizmo! Gizmo is the sweetest, chillest, cuddly guy who seems to have been put on this earth to be someone’s little snuggle buddy. He is a total lovebug who happily curls up next to you, settles in for some quality cuddle time, and will gladly keep you company wherever you are. If you’re looking for a dog who brings a calm, comforting presence to your home, Gizmo is your guy. And while Gizmo LOVES his people and his cuddle time, he also knows how to relax and enjoy some downtime. He’s perfectly happy being left alone and doesn’t need constant attention. He’s an easygoing guy who is just as happy snoozing nearby as he is snuggling up beside you. Gizmo is also potty trained, which makes settling into life together that much easier! He’s a good boy who is learning and growing more confident every day. When it comes to walks, Gizmo is working on building his confidence on leash. He may take a little time to get comfortable with all the sights and sounds of the outside world, but once he’s out there, he loves to strut his stuff around the block at his own pace. He’s not in a rush — he’d much rather take his time, enjoy the fresh air, and explore the world one little step at a time. Above all, Gizmo is just an incredibly sweet, gentle, lovable guy. He has the kind of presence that makes you want to curl up on the couch with him and stay there all day. He’s a teddy bear, a snuggle bug, and an all-around wonderful companion looking for a family who will give him the love, patience, and cozy life he deserves. Gizmo is approximately 12y 1m 17d old and is fully grown at 16.2 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org.
