Ohana is a sweet, smart little girl who is learning and getting wiser every day. She’s very treat-motivated, which makes training much easier, and she loves playing with our resident dog. On walks, she enjoys people-watching and looking out for squirrels and birds. She’s already fully pee-pad trained and loves a good bully stick. She’s a playful, curious little pup who’s doing great with everything she’s learning! After all Ohana means family and she can’t wait to find her perfect one!🌺 Ohana is approximately 0y 2m 20d old and may be 32 to 40 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

Ohana is a sweet, smart little girl who is learning and getting wiser every day. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

🎾 Exercise

On walks, she enjoys people-watching and looking out for squirrels and birds. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
