A medium dog by weight

Tofu is a 33-pound puppy with the face of a polar bear cub, and she’s playful, energetic, and independent. She wants to say hi to every dog she sees, and she cannot wait for the day when she can go for a run off-leash in the park. She loves peanut butter, lick mats, and rope toys, and she’ll do best with an active lifestyle and lots of playtime and mental stimulation. Tofu is approximately 0y 6m 14d old and may be 50 to 60 pounds when fully grown. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done. Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog. This dog is available for adoption through Muddy Paws Rescue. If you're interested in adopting, the first thing you should do is begin the registration process at www.muddypawsrescue.org. If you are already a registered adopter with Muddy Paws Rescue, please email us at adoptionmeetings@muddypawsrescue.org.

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

Tofu is a 33-pound puppy with the face of a polar bear cub, and she’s playful, energetic, and independent. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

🎾 Exercise

She loves peanut butter, lick mats, and rope toys, and she’ll do best with an active lifestyle and lots of playtime and mental stimulation. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
