Monty’s world changed overnight when his beloved owner suddenly passed away. Their family tried to do the right thing and take him in, but sadly their resident dog would not accept him and attacked Monty. With no safe place left for him to go, Monty was surrendered to an overcrowded southern shelter where, due to limited resources, his future was heartbreakingly uncertain. When we heard Monty’s story, we knew we couldn’t let his journey end there. This sweet, gentle boy deserved another chance. So we stepped in and made him a promise that his life would not be defined by loss, but by the love still waiting for him. Monty is now safe and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish him forever. After everything he’s been through, he deserves nothing less than a home where he will never be left behind again. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
