Muse is the kind of dog who makes you stop and look twice. With her luminous eyes and rich, velvety chocolate coat, she carries a quiet beauty and an even more remarkable spirit. Her life was once at serious risk at the ACC. Not only was she homeless, she was battling Parvo, a devastating virus that requires intensive, round-the-clock care. In an overwhelmed municipal shelter without the resources to treat her, her future was heartbreakingly uncertain. We couldn’t let her story end there. We stepped in, and Muse has been fighting with everything she has. Muse is a survivor in every sense of the word; affectionate, soulful, and deeply connected to her people. She deserves a forever home that will stand by her the way she has fought to stand here today. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. 🧠 Temperament
Muse is a survivor in every sense of the word; affectionate, soulful, and deeply connected to her people. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.
✂️ Grooming
With her luminous eyes and rich, velvety chocolate coat, she carries a quiet beauty and an even more remarkable spirit. Varies with coat type.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
