Labrador Retriever

🧠 Temperament

She's happy, affectionate, and so loving, leaning in for pets and belly pats the moment she meets you. Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward.

🎾 Exercise

High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.

✂️ Grooming

Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.

Adoption fee $200
