Harland was surrendered to a high impound shelter by his family for being too playful with the kids. Yes, you read that right. He is a fantastic boy and doing very well in his foster family. He is a year old and weighs 75 pounds. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. 🧠 Temperament
Gentle, eager to please and highly social. Goldens generally love strangers, children and other dogs, and dislike being left alone for long stretches.
🎾 Exercise
60-90 minutes daily plus mental work. They thrive on fetch and training games.
✂️ Grooming
Long double coat needs brushing several times a week and sheds a lot.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Manageable in a city if exercised well. Their sociability suits busy sidewalks and dog runs.
