Scottie has a way of making life feel a little calmer. He’s the kind of dog who’s simply happy to be by Scottie makes life feel a little calmer. He’s content to stay close, and his steady, gentle presence is a comfort. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being around his people. His foster is watching him slowly come out of his shell and make a few friends on coffee shop outings. Now he goes to restaurants and bars too. They bring his bed, and he lies down and makes himself at home. We love seeing him discover how enjoyable life can be. In his foster home, he’s been a low-key companion. His foster describes him as “the calmest, sweetest dog.” He loves people, adores kids, and greets both familiar and new faces with quiet friendliness. He’s great with other dogs and comfortable around cats. He’ll play when invited, then go back to lounging. On leash, Scottie is an easy walking partner who strolls along at your side. His energy is moderate. He enjoys walks and some playtime, then settles in for a nap. He’s partially house trained and is still learning not to mark indoors, so he’ll do best with someone willing to patiently reinforce his good habits. Scottie loves to tag along, and he’s just as comfortable at home. He’d do well as your one and only or sharing his home with other calm, friendly pets.
