URGENT FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED. ALL EXPENSES PAID TO FOSTER. Chipie is an odd name for such a beautiful female dog. She has been described as AMAZING and very delightful. Her large soulful glittering blue eyes will just melt your heart. She is healthy, spayed, house trained, current on all vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt out to households with children under 10 years old. An application needs to be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs. An application can be obtained on our website http://www.deathrowdogsrescue.com
🧠 Temperament
Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward. Labs stay adolescent longer than many breeds and are often goofy well past their second birthday.
🎾 Exercise
High needs — 60-90 minutes daily. Labs love retrieving and swimming, and an under-exercised Lab tends to get mouthy and destructive.
✂️ Grooming
Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.
