Hi I'm Calma! Nice to meet you! I'm a 6 year old 22 lb chihuahua mix! wanna be best friends? I am a lovely little dog looking for a home in LA. I am crate trained and house broken and can live with or without a dog pal. I have not met a cat so I do not know how I feel about them. can't wait to meet you! please note All of our dogs are in private foster homes. Once you fill out an application it will be screened by our volunteer adoption team. From there, if your application looks like a good fit for the particular dog, it will be sent to the foster where you can ask all the questions you would like and schedule a meet and greet. We do not transport our dogs. If you apply from out of state we do request you come to Los Angeles to meet us and fly home in cabin or drive. www.apurposefulrescue.org
🧠 Temperament
Bold and deeply bonded to one or two people. Chihuahuas are often wary of strangers and can be snappy if they were never taught that hands are safe — early gentle socialization matters.
🎾 Exercise
Low — short walks and indoor play are plenty.
✂️ Grooming
Easy for both smooth and long coats. Dental care is the real priority; small breeds are prone to tooth disease.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
I am crate trained and house broken and can live with or without a dog pal. Extremely apartment-friendly and easy to carry on the subway.
