Carlos

That face says it all — Carlos greets the world with a big, goofy grin and eyes that are impossible to say no to. He's got one ear that stands proud and one that flops, a little asymmetry that only adds to his charm. Carlos is warm and easygoing, equally happy soaking up attention from people or hanging out with other dogs. He settles in fast and makes himself right at home — as this photo proves, he's already mastered the art of looking perfectly comfortable on a cozy blanket. Carlos has been living in a foster home rather than a kennel, so he's mostly house-trained already — though as always, a few accidents in the first days of a new home wouldn't be surprising. He hasn't been formally tested with cats, but given his relaxed nature, we suspect he could do well in a home with cats given proper introductions. Well-mannered, supervised children would likely be a good fit too. Carlos is scheduled to arrive in NYC on Saturday, August 22, ready to trade in his southern roots for city living. He's available exclusively through our foster-to-adopt program. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
