Meet Nyx Nyx may be little, but she has a whole lifetime of possibilities waiting just around the corner. This sweet girl came to us alongside her siblings, Apex, Breaker, Calyx, and Sora, after the five puppies were dropped off by the police at a shelter in Mississippi. Sadly, their mama was nowhere to be found. We can only hope that from here on out, Nyx's story will be filled with the love, security, and happiness every puppy deserves. Nyx is at the very beginning of her journey. There is so much for her to discover, from the joy of a favorite toy to the comfort of falling asleep beside someone who loves her. She deserves a family who will help her navigate the world, teach her new things, and give her the time and patience she needs to grow into a wonderful companion. Puppyhood is full of funny little moments, unexpected adventures, and memories that stay with you forever. We hope Nyx gets to experience all of it with people who will treasure her not just while she is tiny and adorable, but for all the years to come. This little girl deserves a home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly wanted. Please consider giving Nyx her happy beginning. Her forever family could be the best part of her story. Please remember that adoption bios are only a snapshot of each animal. They are meant to give you a glimpse into their personality and story, but there is so much more to learn. Please reach out to our Adoption Team for additional information about Nyx and to learn if she may be the right fit for your home. All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. 🧠 Temperament
This sweet girl came to us alongside her siblings, Apex, Breaker, Calyx, and Sora, after the five puppies were dropped off by the police at a shelter…. Mixed-breed dogs pull traits from several lines, which often means fewer breed-linked health problems and a temperament best judged by meeting the dog.
🎾 Exercise
Depends on the individual. A daily walk plus play is the baseline; ask the foster how the dog behaves after a quiet day.
✂️ Grooming
Varies with coat type. Short coats need little; longer or double coats need regular brushing.
🏙️ In a NYC apartment
Mixes are often excellent city dogs. Building breed restrictions are usually enforced on what a dog looks like, so ask the rescue how the dog is typically identified.
