My name is Finn. I am a male, black Labrador Retriever mix. I have been at the shelter since Oct 10, 2026. Hi, I’m Finn! 3 Months Old • Labrador Retriever • Professional Heart-Stealer I'm Finn, a 3-month-old Lab puppy, and I have a question. A very serious question. One that I think deserves careful consideration. WHO DOESN'T LOVE A LAB PUPPY?!?! Seriously. WHO?! Have you seen us?! We're adorable! We're happy! We're friendly! We're basically little bundles of sunshine with paws! And ME? I AM AN ESPECIALLY EXCELLENT EXAMPLE. I'm a happy, social little guy who is ready to take on the world! People? LOVE THEM! Exploring? YES PLEASE! Playing? I WAS LITERALLY BORN FOR THIS! I'm only three months old, which means my whole life is still ahead of me. And you know what that means? I AM A BLANK CANVAS OF DOG POTENTIAL. Want a hiking buddy? Teach me! Want a family companion? Raise me! Want a dog who enjoys adventures, walks, games, and being part of your everyday life? I AM READY TO LEARN! I have so many possibilities ahead of me. But here's the part where I need everyone to stop staring at my adorable puppy face for approximately fourteen seconds. I AM NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. I am a BABY. A very cute baby. But a baby nonetheless. Which means I will need: Consistent training Proper socialization Exercise and playtime Patience Structure and boundaries People who understand that I am going to GROW! Because here's something people sometimes forget about Lab puppies. WE DO NOT STAY LITTLE. One day, I'm a tiny puppy who can barely figure out what to do with his own feet. And before you know it? BOOM. A BIG LABRADOR. With ENERGY. And OPINIONS. And possibly a very enthusiastic relationship with tennis balls. If you don't teach me good manners while I'm little, I may grow into a much bigger dog who still thinks jumping on everyone is a perfectly acceptable greeting. WHICH WOULD BE AWKWARD. For you. I would probably think it was fantastic. But with the right family, consistent guidance, and lots of love? I have the potential to become an absolutely wonderful adult dog. That's the beautiful thing about adopting a puppy like me. You get to be there for everything. My first adventures. My first lessons. My first discoveries. The moment I finally understand what you're asking me to do. The day you look at me and realize that the little puppy you brought home has grown into your best friend. And I am SO ready to get started. I'm Finn. I'm three months old. I'm a Lab puppy. And I'm ready to become somebody's very best boy. COME ON. WHO DOESN'T WANT A FINN?! Finn is neutered, dewormed, microchipped and is up to date with vaccines. His adoption fee is $500.00, plus $8.50 for the dog license if you are a resident of NYC. Finn will also get one free exam with one of our participating veterinarians within 30 days of his adoption. If you'd like to meet him please visit, we're conveniently located in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn near the F train (Ft Hamilton Pkwy) and the B16 bus. We're open daily for adoptions from 11am to 5:30pm. Finn can't wait to meet you! Labrador Retriever

🧠 Temperament

I'm a happy, social little guy who is ready to take on the world!. Friendly, people-focused and famously food-motivated, which makes training straightforward.

🎾 Exercise

Which means I will need: Consistent training Proper socialization Exercise and playtime Patience Structure and boundaries People who understand that…. High needs — 60-90 minutes daily.

✂️ Grooming

Short double coat that sheds heavily year-round and more in spring and fall. Weekly brushing helps a lot.

🏙️ In a NYC apartment

Can do well in an apartment if genuinely exercised. Size and shedding are the main constraints; most are elevator- and crowd-tolerant.

Adoption fee $500.00
