Adopt Coop. 🤍 We rescued this adorable little senior from the shelter just two weeks ago. After a much-needed dental, neuter, and medical care, he’s like a puppy again. His bloodwork is pristine, he’s incredibly healthy, and at 14 years old, you’d never guess his age. He’s great with dogs, cats, and people. Chill, perfect retired surfer energy. 🏄♂️ 16 lbs no drama 🧘🏼♂️ The easiest roommate you’ll ever have. If you’d like to adopt this sweet little guy, fill out an adoption application through the link in our bio. 🤍
🧠 Temperament
Bold, curious and busy. Terriers were bred to hunt independently, which shows up as tenacity, a strong prey drive and a low tolerance for boredom. They are often more dog-selective than people-selective.
🎾 Exercise
Moderate to high, and mental more than physical — 45-60 minutes plus digging, sniffing or puzzle outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Their small size suits apartments well. Watch for barking at hallway noise and a strong interest in squirrels and rats.
