Meet Jackson! 🥹❤️ 13 years old, 25 pounds, and quite possibly the sweetest gentleman you’ll ever meet! This adorable cocker spaniel found himself at the West LA Shelter after his owner became homeless, and we were lucky enough to bring him into our rescue. Jackson is truly the PERFECT boy. He loves everyone, gets along beautifully with other dogs, is potty trained, and is just an absolute dream to have around. He does have a heart murmur, so we’re still working through his medical needs, but we’d love to find his forever family now so he can start enjoying his new life! Of course, we’ll cover ALL of his medical expenses, and his adoption won’t be finalized until his medical care is complete. Jackson deserves the happiest next chapter, and whoever gets to love this sweet boy is going to be incredibly lucky. ❤️

Mixed / Unknown breed

This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.

🧠 Temperament

He loves everyone, gets along beautifully with other dogs, is potty trained, and is just an absolute dream to have around. Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed.

🎾 Exercise

Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.

✂️ Grooming

Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.

🏙️ In an LA apartment

Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
