Meet Wilma. 14 years old. 6 pounds. THE BOSS. 👑❤️ This tiny mini poodle is sassy, hilarious, loving, playful, and absolutely convinced she runs the show. Wilma ADORES people and other dogs. She’s affectionate, ridiculously funny, and impossible not to fall in love with within seconds of meeting her! She’s mostly blind but gets around incredibly well, navigating by sounds and shadows. She loves playing with other dogs, bossing them around, and occasionally resource guarding, so her future family should be mindful of that. All Wilma wants is to eat, love, play, and be in charge. 😂 We rescued her from the West LA Shelter after being told she was likely hospice due to a massive bladder stone they weren’t sure could be removed. Well, Wilma had other plans! She aced surgery, said goodbye to a bladder stone practically the size of her, and found a whole new lease on life within HOURS! Now that she’s feeling good, Wilma is just getting started! ❤️ Whoever adopts this tiny angel is getting one very special girl!
🧠 Temperament
👑❤️ This tiny mini poodle is sassy, hilarious, loving, playful, and absolutely convinced she runs the show. Genuinely one of the smartest breeds — quick to learn, and quick to invent bad habits if bored.
🎾 Exercise
45-60 minutes daily plus puzzle work. Mental exercise matters as much as physical for this breed.
✂️ Grooming
High maintenance. The curly single coat doesn't shed much but mats easily; expect brushing several times a week and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Excellent city dogs — low shedding, adaptable and highly trainable. Budget for grooming.
