FANTASTIC DOG!!! 45 pound Hamilton is a terrific dog. Set to be euthanized at deadly Devore Shelter, he was saved at the last minute. He then went to Cesar Milans Dog Psychology Center to be trained by his top trainer. Hamilton is pretty perfect. He isn't high energy as some Husky's can be. He settles well. He loves to go swimming and can just paddle around and around and around. Hamilton is great with other dogs, is a good listener and is crate trained. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. Please direct all questions to adopt@crdogrescue.com. All our dogs can be met with an approved application. Thank you for looking at a rescue dog for your next family member.
This dog's breed isn't known, so here's general guidance for mixes.
🧠 Temperament
Every dog is an individual — temperament depends far more on this dog's history and personality than on breed. The rescue's write-up is the best guide.
🎾 Exercise
He isn't high energy as some Husky's can be. Most adult dogs do well with 30-60 minutes of walking a day plus play and sniffing time.
✂️ Grooming
Brush regularly, bathe as needed, keep nails trimmed and ears clean.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
Hamilton is great with other dogs, is a good listener and is crate trained. Ask the rescue about leash manners, elevator and stair comfort, alone-time tolerance, and whether the dog settles in a small space.
