Happy is a sweet 1 year old Jack Russell Mix. He is a rescue from Los Angeles. He is playful and affectionate. He is house trained and goes outside to use the bathroom. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. When his original owners got Happy he quickly got along with the two dogs but he is reactive on and off the leash. He needs to be the only dog in the house. He is improving but will still need someone patient and willing to work with him. He needs a home preferably with a back yard. He is very high energy and loves to go in walks but mostly run in backyards. He is sweet, loving, and playful. He loves to play fetch, sniff grassy areas, play tug of war, and cuddle on the couch and watch tv with you! He is highly intelligent and does brain games.
🧠 Temperament
He is sweet, loving, and playful. Bold, curious and busy.
🎾 Exercise
He is very high energy and loves to go in walks but mostly run in backyards. Moderate to high, and mental more than physical — 45-60 minutes plus digging, sniffing or puzzle outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Varies. Wiry coats need hand-stripping or clipping every few months; smooth coats need very little.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
When his original owners got Happy he quickly got along with the two dogs but he is reactive on and off the leash. Their small size suits apartments well.
