Lucy was rescued from the roadside at four weeks old with an abscess on her neck. She has since fully healed after medical care and is now in good health. She picked up basic obedience like "sit" and "wait" in a single day. In daily life, she approaches people, cats, dogs, and children without hesitation or fear. When turned out onto the grass for potty breaks, she routinely rolls on her back before getting down to business. She shows strong food motivation during meals, but allows food to be handled without guarding or snapping. Lucy is a clear-headed, responsive puppy who engages easily with her environment. Her friendly nature makes her straightforward to handle around other pets and houseguests. Ideal Home She will do best with an adopter ready to guide a growing puppy with consistent training and daily activity. A household with children or other pets is a suitable fit. She is a reliable and open-tempered puppy who transitions quickly into new routines.
🧠 Temperament
Her friendly nature makes her straightforward to handle around other pets and houseguests. Confident, highly trainable and deeply loyal, bred to work all day alongside a handler.
🎾 Exercise
High — 60-90+ minutes daily plus a job to do. Scent work and obedience are ideal outlets.
✂️ Grooming
Heavy double-coat shedding year-round with two big blowouts a year. Brush several times a week.
🏙️ In an LA apartment
When turned out onto the grass for potty breaks, she routinely rolls on her back before getting down to business. Demanding in an apartment: large, vocal and often reactive to the constant stimulus of a city street.
